Serve & Love Our Neighbor

At St. Pius X, we pride ourselves on living by our mission statement of Serving and Loving our Neighbor. We update our service opportunities on a monthly basis.

If you want to get involved but aren’t exactly sure what the best option for you is, fill out the form below and our staff will reach out to you!

School Supply Collection

School Supply Collection

Bring your school supply donations to St. Pius X the weekend of August 9th & 10th as we hold our annual School Supply Drive to benefit Circles of Mercy! Drop off your donations at the school bus in the atrium. Click on the button below to see the items needed!

Meal Ministry

Our Meal Ministry regularly provides meals to members of our community in need; it’s also one of our most popular ministries! If you enjoy meal preparation and cooking, we invite you to learn more about our meal ministry.

Sacred Heart Monthly Food Collection

St. Pius X Parishioners have always been extremely generous in their donations to the Sacred Heart Food Pantry. Click to view their biggest needs for the current month.

HATAS Feed and Read

HATAS Feed and Read is a great way to help children within the Albany School System who live in food insecure homes. Our team of volunteers fills backpacks with food and an age-appropriate book for the children that HATAS serves.

Capital City Rescue Mission

If you have a passion for helping those in need, our team who visits the Capital City Rescue Mission may be a good fit for you! Our team focuses on providing freshly cooked meals for the residents of the Albany Capital City Rescue Mission.

Men’s Service Group

Our Men's Service Team at the parish offers assistance with small projects for those who are unable to complete them themselves. If you or someone you know needs a helping hand, please contact Peter Myer by clicking the button below. We're here to support our community!
