2025 Advent Breakfasts!
We are excited to announce our 2025 St. Pius X Advent Breakfasts!
Both breakfasts this year will take place at the Joseph Zaloga Post on Everett Road.
Our Men’s Breakfast will take place on Friday, December 5th from 7:30am to 8:30am, and our Women’s Breakfast will take place on Saturday, December 6th from 8:30am to 9:30am.
We are also excited to share that our speaker this year, for both breakfasts, is Mike Saccocio! Mike is the CEO and Executive Director of the City Mission in Schenectady, and his speech will be a great opportunity for all of us to learn how to bring Christ’s love to others.

Mike Saccocio, CEO of Schenectady City Mission
About Mike Saccocio
Michael Saccocio is the Executive Director of City Mission of Schenectady. He has led City Mission to significant growth of its programs and its downtown campus. Mike has also served in a leadership role for successful collaborative projects including the Schenectady County Flood Recovery Coalition, the Schenectady Bridges Transformation Movement, and the Schenectady County COVID Relief and Recovery Coalition. His work has been featured in several publications, and he speaks throughout the region and nation on topics of leadership, faith and overcoming poverty.
Mike has previously served as Deputy Mayor of the City of Schenectady, and has played professional baseball in the Montreal Expos Baseball Organization. He has been active in youth sports, coaching the Rotterdam Rangers travel baseball team to the 16 year-old NABF National Championship.
Mike has developed innovative social enterprises including the Schenectady Ambassadors Program. He has received numbers awards for leadership and community service, and was named a Patroon of the City of Schenectady. He is a graduate of Union College, has a Masters Degree from Regent University in Virginia, and has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Union Graduate College. Mike also serves on the Board of Directors for Fenimore Asset Management and Better Community Neighborhoods, Inc.
Mike and his wife Carol live in Glenville. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren.
