Join Scouts at SPX!
Girl Scouts
We are Girl Scouts! SPX has had active troops for over 50 years, with 7 current troops serving girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Girl Scouts helps build confidence, friendships, leadership, and life skills through outdoor adventures, STEM, community service, and more.
We love being active—zip lining, boating, hiking, camping, swimming, and selling cookies. We love learning—earning Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards, exploring science and nature, touring local organizations, and developing new skills. We love helping others—making blankets for families in need, planting gardens, celebrating with seniors, and serving our community. We even love to travel—like our Girl Scout Destinations trip to London!
Girl Scouts is where girls discover their strengths, grow in courage, confidence, and character, and have fun while making a difference.

Boy Scouts
Joining Boy Scouts is a great way for young people to build confidence, make friends, and learn valuable life skills. From outdoor adventures like camping and hiking to service projects that give back to the community, Scouts grow in leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. It’s an opportunity to challenge yourself, have fun, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts is all about fun, friendship, and adventure! Boys and girls in grades K–5 can join to explore the outdoors, play games, work on hands-on projects, and learn new skills along the way.
