“There is a God who loves me; He lives within me. There’s a world that needs Him, so He sent me to them.”

Greetings!

Our hope for our Year Two Confirmation Program is to not only provide youth with a transformative experience to prepare them for the Sacrament of Confirmation, but to also empower them to become lifelong disciples and evangelists in a world that is desperately seeking a purpose that can only be found in Christ. The curriculum addresses three big questions, “Why believe in God?”, “Why trust Jesus?” and “Why be a part of the Church?”

The Confirmation Year Two program includes meeting twice a month on Sundays for our Confirmation sessions, and a Year Two Retreat.

Registration: If you wish to continue with the Confirmation Preparation Program here at St. Pius X, it’s important that you register for Year Two so we know of your intention to continue. Registration for the year two program is open! Please click the button below.

Schedule: A Schedule for our Year Two sessions can be found via the button below. Candidates will gather in person on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Prior to the pandemic, our Year Two sessions were paired with Sunday’s noon Mass. While we have not yet resumed this Mass in our parish reopening process, it is our hope that we can resume it soon. Placing our trust in the Lord, we will continue to hold our Year Two sessions on Sundays, from 1:00-2:30 pm.

Each candidate must attend each session. Candidates are not allowed more than three (3) absences. Any additional, unexcused absence must be made up with Josh Kay, our Youth & Young Adult Minister.

If you have any questions, please contact Josh Kay or Heidi Cummins at confirmation@stpiusxloudonville.org or at 518-462-1336 x 2009.

Thank you and God Bless,

Josh Kay and Heidi Cummins

Confirmation will take place in Spring 2022, date and time TBD.

Youth Ministry Update
