St. Pius X Missions Program

Do you feel called to serve on Missions?  We welcome you to join us on our first official parish-wide mission trip as our Missions Program will launch this February as we head to Mexico City to serve the poor!  Join parishioner and missions coordinator, Dan Jason, on a life changing experience and encounter with Christ to serve with fellow members of St. Pius and Hope of the Poor in Mexico City Saturday, February 15 -Wednesday, February 19, 2020.  On this mission we will be serving street children, delivering food and water to the hungry, sharing the Gospel, and serving the poorest of the poor in the slums and city dump.  In addition, we will take a pilgrimage to the Basilica of our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City and visit Tepeyac Hill where Mary appeared to Juan Diego in 1531.  We are excited for this opportunity which is open to 40 parishioners ages 18-40.  The cost of the mission will be $850+flight which includes four nights and five days stay, all meals and transportation included as well as lodging at the convent with the Sisters of Life.  For more information and specific details please contact Dan Jason directly (please do not contact the parish office) at danielmjason@gmail.com or 315-416-1860.  A formal informational program will be coming soon where Dan and others who went to Mexico City in the past will be happy to speak of their experiences and share with those interested.
