Dear St. Pius Parish Family,

As of Saturday, June 6, Bishop Scharfenberger has given permission for Masses to resume at 25% capacity. Please note information specific to the opening of our St. Pius X parish can be found in this video.

* All activities that take place on parish and school grounds have been cancelled until further notice.

*The church and chapel will remain open for private prayer from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm weekdays and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends.

*Besides here on our website, the best way to keep abreast of the status of parish activities is through Constant Contact (send us your email address if we don’t have it), Facebook, Instagram and myParishApp. Masses and additional videos can be viewed here on YouTube. Be sure to visit the “forms” page here to become a parishioner or update your parish contact information.

* Sunday Masses will currently be offered at 5:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am on Sunday, beginning Saturday, June 13.  Masses will continue to be offered as livestreams and can be viewed at 5:00 pm on Saturday and anytime after.  Visit the homepage for ways to access our livestreamed Masses.

*Our regular reconciliation will resume on Saturdays from 4:15-4:45 pm in the Chapel.  Please enter through the Chapel doors and be sure to wear a mask.

*We are holding funerals and weddings in the church at reduced capacity. Baptisms will resume, with special protocol, at the end of June.

During these challenging times, please pray for those who have contracted this disease, those who have died from it and their families, and for all medical personnel trying to bring comfort to those afflicted.  Please reach out to those who are isolated and home bound to let them know you are thinking of them.  Never forget that our Lord is always present to us in these challenging times.

Fr. Walsh
