Funeral Planning – Our parish secretary, Jenn Maroney, meets with the family of the deceased to assist in planning the funeral Mass, helping the family choose readings and select music. We encourage family members to participate in the Mass as readers and gift bearers. For additional information, including access to the readings and music, please click here.
Cards and Letters – We have volunteers who assist us in offering out condolences to families who have lost loved ones.
Spring Bereavement Program – Join us for our spring bereavement program on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in the Parish Chapel from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Seasons of Hope – Hope for Healing after Loss; ministry to the bereaved to experience the healing comfort of Christ through our faith community. They meet once a month at 7:00 PM in Conference Room A. We are using the “Seasons of Hope” series. Those that grieve are at varying stages of grief and we will attempt to meet you where you are. St. Pius X All Souls’ Day Mass – Usually held the first Monday in November to commemorate all those who have died in our parish over the course of the year. A solemn and beautiful Mass at which all the names of the deceased are read and families have an opportunity to bring up a flower in honor of their loved one.
