St. Pius X church is located at 23 Crumitie Road in Loudonville, NY in
the town of Colonie (the zip code is 12211). All major highways are within
a very short drive of the church, which is between Albany-Shaker Road
and Route 9 (sometimes referred to as Loudonville Road). From the East Take the Mass Pike to the NYS Thruway, and exit at B1 on the Berkshire
Spur of the Thruway (“Albany”). Coming out of the toll booths,
take I-90 West to Exit 6 for “Loudonville”. As you go up the exit ramp, the road splits: “Arbor Hill”
is to the left; “Loudonville” is to the right. At the split,
stay to the right, but then move into the left lane; that lane will take
you directly onto Route 9. At the first traffic light on Route 9 (about
a mile up the road), turn left onto Crumitie Road. The church is on the
right, three-tenths of a mile from Route 9. From the West Take the NYS Thruway to Exit 24. Coming out of the toll booths, take
I-90 East to Exit 5 (“Everett Road”). Turn left at the light
at the end of the exit ramp. Follow Everett Road for about a mile and
a half, until it dead-ends at Albany-Shaker Road (a Stewart’s Shop
is on the left). Turn right at the light onto Albany-Shaker Road. Within
a very short distance, you will pass Green Meadows Lane, Majestic Road
and Stafford Road on the left. The next left is Crumitie Road. Turn left
onto Crumitie Road. The church is on the left, about two hundred yards
after you turn on to Crumitie Road. From the South Take the NYS Thruway to Exit 23. St. Pius X church is 6.8 miles from
Exit 23 (about a ten minute drive). Going straight ahead out of the toll booths, you will be on I-787 traveling
north. Stay on this road for 3 miles. Look for Exit 5 (Buffalo/Boston)
to your right. At the top of the ramp (where it splits to the left for
“Buffalo”, and to the right for “Boston”), stay
to the left. After you pass the point where the ramp splits, and as the
ramp swings around to the left, stay in the right lane. You want to take
the next exit, Exit 6 (“Arbor Hill/Loudonville”), which is
about a half-mile ahead. At Exit 6, follow the signs for “Loudonville”. Again, the
road splits: “Arbor Hill” is to the left; “Loudonville”
is to the right. At the split, stay to the right, but then move into the
left lane; that lane will take you directly onto Route 9. At the first
traffic light on Route 9 (about a mile up the road), turn left onto Crumitie
Road. The church is on the right, three-tenths of a mile from Route 9. Take I-87 (the Northway) south to Exit 4 (for Albany Airport). Turn left
at the light at the end of the exit ramp. At the next light, turn left
onto Albany-Shaker Road. Stay on Albany- Shaker Road for approximately
3 miles (going through five more traffic lights) and turn left onto Crumitie
Road. The church is on the left, about two hundred yards after you turn
onto Crumitie Road. Parking There are two large parking lots at St. Pius, one on either side of the
church (there is no parking immediately in front of the church or behind
the church). Both parking lots are directly accessible from Crumitie Road.
