Principal’s report: Enrollment has increased from 630 to 705. The new classrooms should be complete by the end of the month. The school and Christian Works and Service Committee of the Pastoral Council teamed up for the Coats for Kids collection. 200 coats so far. “Canstruction” is the theme for this year’s food drive for the Sacred Heart Food Pantry. Middle States re -accreditation is beginning.

School Board report (Justyn): Discussion of redevelopment of the school’s web page and Winter’s Night Out.


Religion Education (Judy): Enrollment has increased from 446 to 460. Hilltown Clothing Drive is November 21-22.


Christian Works and Service: Completed Coats for Kids collection – total of 312 coats. Next food
collection November 14-15 coincides with Boy Scout collection.


Prayer and Worship: No Saving Seats policy for 4:00 Christmas Eve Mass confirmed. It will be published in the next newsletter and the bulletin during advent. Tom Christman will attend to make an announcement to make room in the pews for those who are still standing.
Girl Scout Blood Drive on October 3 was successful with 31 donors (5 first time).

Public Relations – Demo on September 23. Pastoral Council PR committee to meet and discuss web page requirements


Pastoral Care – 11/2 is the All Souls Liturgy; 105 names. Jeanne participates in the Pastoral Care Cluster.

Fr. Farano’s comments – The recent collaboration between the school and parish for the Coats for Kids demonstrates the mission of the school within the parish. Dedication of the new classrooms to be
scheduled. An Open House for the Parish will also be scheduled. Diocesan Parish Convening is scheduled for November 7 at CBA. All Council members are encouraged to attend. Fr. Walsh is hosting a Diocesan Altar Server retreat on 11/7.


Fr. Farano led the closing prayer. Next meeting is November 18.
