Evangelation

Committee sent out reports and they are rather lengthy. Father Farano wants to wait until Fall to start talking about the Evangelization Process.

Christmas Mass
All local churches have the same problems; overflow of people on Christmas and Easter. Paul Kutey suggested that concerns regarding these Masses should be addressed to the Prayer and Worship Committee.

School Board
The school board will be forming a publicity committee.

Some of the items discussed

  • Brochures for Marketing St. Pius X School
  • Harder hitting tag lines
  • Integrated Media church and school,

  • School Board Members would like to integrate with the Parish Council for an updated Web Site.
The Board would like to work together with the parent's association and the Parish Council.
Spirit Day on June 10th was a success as usual. The school could always use more volunteers. Tom and his wife worked cooking and serving.

    Tom Christman
Sr. Mavis Jewel will be celebrating her 50th Jubilee.

We will be holding a collection for socks and underwear for the Holy Parish.

We will also be holding a school supply collection.

    Parish Survey
Many survey respondents said they did not know about committees within the Parish. Paul Kutey asked if there is a need for a paid employee to work on public relations for the Parish and School.

Many persons do not seem to have any idea of what our school is like and what our Parish Committees work on.

It was suggested after a great deal of discussion that Fr. Farano, Cindy Pettit and a committee from the School Board meet to explore working together to get our information out to the public.

It was a wonderful presence in St. Pius X Church. The Koloff's were members of the Armenian Church in Colonie.

The Bishop's fund is moving along at a good pace. Father thank all of the generous persons.

Dick Zandri said that there are 7 persons ahead of us for a building permit but we still hope to come close to theSeptember deadline. If not, other contingency arrangements have been made made for students until the new rooms are comlete.

    Respectfully Submitted
